The Detroit HBCU Network is teaming up once again with the Detroit Inter-Alumni Council to support the 36th Annual UNCF Walk for Education! Join us at Belle Isle State Park (near the Casino) to help UNCF Michigan reach a fundraising goal of $600,000 to help students get to and successfully through college.  We will work our bodies with a 5K (3.1 mile) walk around beautiful Belle Isle and refresh our spirit with family, friends, fellowship, and good food on a beautiful summer day. Additionally, they will host a college fair immediately following the walk for high school students. The first 100 registered students will be able to apply to over 60 HBCUs, using the Common Black College Application.
